Lesson 43 - Asking someone who their (two) friends are

This week's lesson follows on from last week's.

To ask and answer the question 'Who are your (two) friends?' the process is:

Ko wai o hoa? (macron above the 'o') - Who are your friends?
Ko Ally raua ko Poppy aku hoa (macron above the first 'a' in 'raua') - Ally and Poppy are my friends.

When answering:

• 'o' (your) is replaced with 'aku' (my).
• The question word 'wai' is replaced with the name of the two friends (in this case, 'Ally and Poppy').
• 'raua ko' (macron above the first 'a' in 'raua') becomes 'and'.
