Lesson 46 - Asking where a specific person is going

Last week we looked at the question 'Where are you going?'

Kei te haere koe ki hea?

This week we will look at a slight variation, this time asking where a specific person is going; for example, 'Where is Hone going?'

Kei te haere a Hone ki hea?

To answer the question we:

replace 'hea' (where) with the place that Hone is going - 'te toa' (the shop);

Kei te haere a Hone ki te toa - Hone is going to the shop
