Lesson 36 - asking about more than one classroom object

This is a final follow up for now to the previous three posts:

  • Tenei (macron required above the first e) - This
  • Tena (macron required above the e and the a) - That (by you, but away from me)
  • Tera (macron required above the e and the a) - That (away from the speaker and the person being spoken to)
When talking about more than one item to make these and those, we simply take away the first letter:

  • Enei (macron required above the first e) - These
  • Ena (macron required above the e and the a) - Those (by you, but away from me)
  • Era (macron required above the e and the a) - Those (away from the speaker and the person being spoken to
